Vietnam to host Miss World for first time, final set for Nha Trang
VOV.VN - The organizers of Miss World 2026 have confirmed Nha Trang in the southcentral province of Khanh Hoa as the venue for the competition’s final week and grand finale.
This will mark the first time Vietnam has hosted Miss World and will also coincide with the 75th anniversary of the competition. The 2026 edition will be the 73rd staging of the pageant since its launch in 1951.
Starting August 29, more than 120 contestants from around the world will gather in Nha Trang for a wide array of activities ahead of the grand finale on September 5.
According to organizers, the Miss World 2026 final will take place on a large-scale stage with a capacity of around 20,000 spectators and will be broadcast live worldwide.
Earlier, Miss World Organization Chair Julia Morley and her team conducted site visits to three locations in Vietnam, including Hanoi, Hai Phong and Nha Trang, ahead of the competition before making the final decision.
Vietnam’s representative at Miss World 2026 will be Le Nguyen Bao Ngoc, while the reigning Miss World is Opal Suchata of Thailand.
Miss World is one of the world’s longest-running beauty pageants and is known for its “Beauty with a Purpose” message, which supports charitable and community-focused initiatives.
