The special 75th-anniversary edition of the competition is expected to bring together more than 120 contestants from around the world for a nearly month-long programme spanning several Vietnamese localities and helping introduce Vietnam's culture and people to the world.
Morley and representatives of the host organisation conducted site visits in Hanoi, Hai Phong and Nha Trang, which are being considered for key events and programmes during the pageant.
According to organiser Pham Kim Dung, the survey trip is part of preparations for the first Miss World competition to be held in Vietnam.
Hanoi has been designated as the first destination for contestants, who are expected to take part in cultural exchanges and activities featuring Vietnam's traditions, heritage and people.
During the visit to the capital, Morley and her team also explored local cuisine and learned more about Vietnam's history, culture and daily life.
Hai Phong is expected to host several major events, including the Vietnam Beauty Fashion Fest, while Nha Trang is being considered for activities in the coastal city, which has previously hosted a number of major cultural events.
More than 120 contestants are set to arrive in Vietnam from August 8. The pageant will conclude with the final on September 5 following a broad array of cultural activities and competition events.
