Running red lights, lane violations become rare after AI cameras go live in Hanoi

VOV.VN - With nearly 2,000 AI-powered cameras now operating across Hanoi to monitor traffic and issue automated fines, compliance with road rules has improved markedly, making red-light running and lane violations an increasingly rare sight in recent days.

Vehicles stop and park more orderly, staying within marked lines and designated lanes.

Most road users strictly comply with traffic lights and posted road signs.

At previously chaotic hotspots such as the Nguyen Huu Tho-Ring Road 3 intersection, traffic order has greatly improved since the installation of AI cameras.

At the Chua Boc-Tay Son intersection, pedestrians and vehicles strictly follow traffic rules, creating orderly and civil scenes across Hanoi’s streets.

Traffic order and safety have been ensured from the city center to ring roads and gateway areas, with red-light running and lane violations becoming rare since the “electronic eyes” came into operation.
