VOV.VN - The Hanoi Police, in coordination with the Capital Command, conducted a preliminary rehearsal for the send-off ceremony and security drills to safeguard the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam, on the morning of January 6.

From 6 a.m., traffic checkpoints and diversion points are staffed by Hanoi Traffic Police and ward-level police, working in coordination with the Capital Command, to guide vehicles from a distance and prevent entry into restricted areas during the rehearsal.

At ring roads and areas surrounding the drill venue, functional forces focus on directing vehicles in line with diversion plans previously announced by the Hanoi Police in a bid to ensure security, safety and smooth traffic flow.

The first rehearsal and security drill for the 14th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam takes place at 8 a.m. on January 6 in front of the grandstand area at My Dinh National Stadium and along Le Quang Dao and Le Duc Tho streets (from the Me Tri-Le Quang Dao section to the Le Duc Tho-Tran Huu Duc junction), Tu Liem Ward, Hanoi.

Alongside traffic diversion and road safety duties, forces at key locations also mobilize personnel and specialized equipment to take part in parade formations in support of the send-off ceremony and security drills for the 14th National Party Congress.

The participating officers and personnel are professional servicemen with strong expertise, firm political resolve and thorough training, fully prepared to carry out their mission to ensure absolute security for the Congress.
