A large volume of debris has washed up on Nha Trang’s shoreline following the recent floods.

The foreign volunteers, hailing from various countries, include both tourists and expatriates living and working in Nha Trang. Without being asked, they join the cleanup effort, bringing gloves, grabbers, and sacks, and working alongside local teams to clear the debris from the shoreline

Russian tourist Evgenii Smirnov shares that he has a deep love for the sea. After witnessing the damage caused to the coastal city, he feels compelled to contribute in his own small way to help Nha Trang’s beaches return to their clean and pristine state as quickly as possible.

Meanwhile, an Australian tourist notes that she loves the ocean and does not want to see it polluted. Picking up trash may be a small act, she stresses, but it’s necessary to protect the environment and preserve the beauty of this place.

The atmosphere on the beach is vibrant. People work swiftly, helping one another as they strive to finish the cleanup quickly and restore the area’s natural beauty.

Despite the language barrier, they work smoothly together, sorting waste and carrying it to collection points set up by environmental crews.

A Canadian tourist shares that seeing the shoreline covered in debris after the floods, she feels compelled to take action rather than simply stand by.

People feel a sense of happiness and fulfillment, knowing they’ve contributed to cleaning up Nha Trang’s beaches.

According to the Nha Trang Bay Management Board, thousands of people have participated in the cleanup over the past three days, including youth union members, the armed forces, local authorities, tourism associations, residents, and even foreign visitors.
