Christmas cheer spreads across Ho Chi Minh City ahead of holiday season
VOV.VN - With just over a week to go until Christmas, many areas across Ho Chi Minh City have been lavishly decorated, attracting large numbers of locals and visitors for sightseeing and photos.
Familiar spots such as Notre-Dame Cathedral, Saigon Ward (former District 1), the areas in front of shopping centers, shops, and cafes in the city center are all adorned in vibrant decorations.
Alongside traditional red, many places feature white and gold tones, creating a warm and colorful ambiance as the holiday approaches.
Peak visiting hours are typically from 6 p.m. onwards. At busy locations like Notre-Dame Cathedral and Diamond Plaza, traffic police are deployed to manage traffic and ensure safety.
Meanwhile, several churches across the city are finalizing their decorations to welcome locals and parishioners during the upcoming Christmas celebration.
