Quang Tri to court Japanese investment at Tokyo conference
VOV.VN - Vietnam’s central province of Quang Tri will host a conference in Tokyo in October to showcase its investment potential and connect local businesses with Japanese investors and partners.
The conference is scheduled for October 21 in Tokyo as part of a working visit to Japan by a delegation from the provincial People’s Committee from October 18-22.
It is intended to introduce Quang Tri’s development potential, advantages, business and investment environment, priority sectors and investment incentives to Japanese organisations, businesses and investors.
It will also provide a platform for the province and Japanese partners to explore cooperation opportunities in investment, trade, tourism, industry, agriculture, labour, education and training, as well as other areas where the two sides see potential.
A key objective of the networking arrangement is to facilitate direct engagement between Japanese agencies, organisations, enterprises, and investors and leaders and businesses from Quang Tri.
Through direct discussions, Japanese participants will have an opportunity to learn more about Quang Tri’s investment environment, policies and priority projects, while exchanging views with provincial authorities and businesses.
The conference is also expected to help identify potential areas for cooperation and pave the way for investment and business projects between Quang Tri and Japanese partners.
The Tokyo event is part of Quang Tri’s plan to strengthen ties with Japanese partners and expand international investment and business connections.
The province sees Japan as a potential partner across a range of sectors, including investment, trade, tourism, industry, agriculture, labour, and education and training.
By bringing provincial authorities and businesses directly to Tokyo, Quang Tri aims to turn investment promotion into more direct exchanges with potential Japanese partners and create a foundation for future cooperation and investment projects.
