Festival featuring Cham ethnic activities opens in Phu Yen
VOV.VN - The fifth version of the Cham ethnic culture, sports, and tourism festival kicked off in Tuy Hoa city in the southern province of Phu Yen on August 19, with Deputy Prime Minister Vu Duc Dam in attendance.

| As many as 2,000 performers and artists nationwide are due to gather at the culture and tourism festival. The occasion will see the participation of Cham people from 11 central and southern provinces including Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Tay Ninh, Binh Phuoc, An Giang, Danang city, and Ho Chi Minh city. |

| The event will host a number of fantastic activities with the festival also including art performances, a fashion show of the Cham’s traditional costumes, an exhibition on the socio-economic development of the Cham ethnic group, along with the introduction of traditional crafts and cuisine. |
