Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) on November 5 presented the insignia For the Cause of Radio Broadcasting to two Russian and Ukrainian experts for their contributions to VOV’s Russian Service.
VOV Director General Vu Van Hien presented the honour to Olga Dao – a Russian national - and Xvetlana Klimenko – a Ukrainian national - who have worked for the Russian Service for more than 10 consecutive years.
The two experts have trained the service’s staff in translating news stories to help increase the quality of daily broadcasts in the Russian language.
More than 20 experts from Russian-speaking countries have worked for the Russian Service since it was established in 1975.
