The Vietnam Victims Memorial Fund (VVMF) of the US has provided US$2.5 million to help landmine victims in central Quang Tri province involved in a mushroom growing project.


According to VVMF’s Chief Representative in Vietnam, Chuck Searcy, the project will provide technical assistance and credit for landmine victims in the province to increase their incomes and improve their living conditions.


VVMF is calling for further investment in the Lao Bao special economic zone in Huong Hoa, Quang Tri province.
