Vietnam earns multiple nominations at World Spa Awards 2026
Vietnam secured several nominations and honours at the 2026 World Spa Awards, including recognition in the World’s Best Eco Spa and World’s Best Wellness Destination categories.
The 12th edition of the awards, held on September 22, recognised leading wellness destinations, resorts, brands and experiences worldwide. Italy was named World’s Best Spa Destination 2026, ahead of contenders from Australia, Hawaii, the Maldives and Japan.
In the Vietnam-specific categories, Chanterelle – Spa by JW at JW Marriott Phu Quoc Emerald Bay Resort & Spa was named Vietnam’s Best Resort Spa 2026, while Spa L’Occitane en Provence at JW Marriott Hotel Hanoi was named Vietnam’s Best Hotel Spa 2026. Namia Retreat was nominated for Vietnam’s Best Wellness Retreat 2026, while La Spa Ma May was shortlisted for Vietnam’s Best Day Spa 2026.
The awards also recognised several leading European properties. Switzerland was named World’s Best Wellness Destination, and Geinberg5 Villas in Austria won World’s Best Private Spa.
In France, Spa L’Occitane en Provence at Le Couvent des Minimes was honoured as World’s Best Eco Spa, while Vila Vita Spa by Sisley in Portugal received the World’s Best Spa Service Excellence award.
Other winners included Six Senses London as World’s Best New Wellness Resort; Guerlain Spa at One&Only Aesthesis in Greece as World’s Best Urban Resort Spa; and SHA Spain as World’s Best Wellness Clinic.
