Hanoi Museum ranked among world's architectural gems
VOV.VN - The Hanoi Museum has secured a spot on Business Insider’s list of the 36 museums with the world's most beautiful architecture, recognized for its striking inverted pyramid design and interior spiral ramp.
The US publication highlighted the museum's distinctive inverted pyramid structure featuring a spiral ramp that guides visitors through exhibits detailing Hanoi’s millennial history alongside the culture, heritage, and architecture of Vietnam. The facility opened to the public in 2010.
At the top of the list is China's Palace Museum within the Forbidden City, celebrated for its expansive wooden architecture as one of the world's most-visited cultural sites. Spain's Guggenheim Bilbao, designed by Frank Gehry, takes the second spot, followed by London's Natural History Museum.
Other prominent institutions featured on the international ranking include the Louvre in Paris, the Guggenheim Museum in New York, Berlin's Jewish Museum, the National Museum of the American Indian, the Royal Ontario Museum in Canada, and the Moscow State Historical Museum.
