Vietnam International Team Golf Championship 2026 slated for Jan. 9-11

VOV.VN - The Vietnam International Team Golf Championship 2026 (VITGC) is scheduled to take place at NovaWorld Phan Thiet Golf Club in Lam Dong province from January 9–11.

The tournament will feature golfers from nine countries and territories, including Vietnam, Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, the United States, Canada, Thailand, Laos and Cambodia. Each team will comprise 12 official players and four reserves.

All participants are elite amateurs, evidenced by handicaps below 10.0. The championship will be contested in a match-play format across three categories, namely fourball, foursome and singles matches.

Teams will compete head-to-head in paired matchups, accumulating points across the rounds to determine the overall standings. A win earns one point and a draw earns 0.5 point. After two days of competition with a total of 24 matches, the team with the highest points tally will be crowned champion.
