FPT Play secures late broadcasting rights for FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026 in Vietnam
VOV.VN - FPT Play has officially secured the broadcasting rights for the FIFA ASEAN Cup 2026 in Vietnam, confirming full live coverage across its platform just hours before the national team's opening match.

The agreement was finalized at 6 p.m. on September 26, ensuring domestic fans full access to the tournament, including Vietnam's opening fixture against the Philippines at 7:30 p.m. the same day.
FPT Play will broadcast all tournament matches live across its platform, including smart TVs, mobile devices, PCs, FPT Play Boxes, and its official website.
Notably, FPT Play has agreed to grant free, non-commercial public screening rights to eligible organizations. Such screenings must meet specific criteria: free admission, no embedded advertisements or sponsorships, an audience size under 5,000, and the use of legitimate live feeds sourced directly from FPT Play. Events that fall outside these guidelines require prior approval from FPT Play and must comply with FIFA regulations.
With the broadcasting rights secured, Vietnamese fans can follow head coach Kim Sang-sik's side throughout their group-stage campaign against the Philippines, Thailand, and Pakistan.
