Vietnamese students secure four gold medals at international math competition
VOV.VN - A 24-member Vietnamese delegation has won four gold, seven silver, and 10 bronze medals, along with two honorable mentions, at the Mongolia International Mathematics Competition 2026 (MIMC 2026).
The International Mathematics Competition (IMC) is an annual event for primary and junior high school students. This year's competition was held in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, from July 22 to 27, drawing participants from 32 countries and territories.
In Vietnam, the IEG Education Foundation (IEG Foundation) is the sole representative authorized by the International IMC Committee to select, train, and coordinate the national delegation for the international round.
Following two selection rounds, the IEG Foundation set up six teams with the 24 top students to represent Vietnam at MIMC 2026.
