VOV.VN - Representatives from the consulates general of the Netherlands, France, Hungary, and Germany in Ho Chi Minh City visited the Long Thanh International Airport (LTIA) project on September 14 to review its progress and explore potential areas of cooperation.

Hosted by the LTIA Management Board, the delegation toured the project model, Runway 23L, and the passenger terminal area, where they were briefed on the progress of key components. The two sides also discussed potential support and opportunities for future collaboration.

LTIA said the visit would help strengthen ties among Airports Corporation of Vietnam (ACV), LTIA, and European diplomatic missions in Vietnam, creating a foundation for closer cooperation in the future.

The visit followed a September 8 meeting between LTIA and Korean Air, whose delegation surveyed the airport’s infrastructure and operational conditions.

The two sides discussed plans to launch commercial flights connecting Long Thanh and Incheon International Airport in the Republic of Korea, as well as ways to deepen cooperation between LTIA and the airline.
