VOV.VN - The Ly Van Border Guard Station in northern Cao Bang province on November 26 received 37 Vietnamese citizens handed over by the Chinese law enforcement agency.

The arrestees had been found entering and residing illegally in China and were apprehended by the Shuo Long Immigration Border Checkpoint (Daxin County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region).

During investigation, border forces identified one of the citizens, Quang Trung Tuan (born 1994, residing in central Quang Tri province), as a wanted person under decision No. 01 dated February 12, 2018, issued by Ba Don Town Police for theft.

The Ly Van Border Guard Station arrested the individual, coordinated with Cao Bang Provincial Police to complete legal procedures, and handed him over to Ba Don Ward Police for further handling according to the law.

The remaining 36 citizens were issued administrative penalties and guided to return to their local residences. During the reception, police recorded statements, verified identities, and finalized documentation in accordance with legal regulations.
