The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund (VVMF) and the Geneva International Centre for Humanitarian Demining (GICHD) have co-organized a seminar on poverty reduction in countries affected by conflicts.
The seminar was held in the central province of Hue from November 3-6 and attended by nearly 60 representatives from NGOs in countries affected by conflict across Asia, Africa, Europe and the Middle East,
They also had a chance to visit several Vietnamese provinces affected by bombs, mines and explosive remnants of war such as Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien - Hue.
