A cultural week featuring the Khmer people’s Occ-om-boc festival opened in the southern province of Soc Trang on November 6.
The festival is co-organised by the provincial People’s Committee and the Steering Committee of Mekong-Can Tho National Tourism Year.
The festival’s profile will be raised to a national level in the near future and is considered as one of the three major tourism events that make up the Mekong-Can Tho National Tourism Year.
This year’s event includes traditional Khmer celebrations and special performances by art troupes from other provinces.
