According to the Central Hydro-Meteorology Forecasting Centre, the cold atmosphere is hitting northern provinces and spreading over the northcentral and central parts of Vietnam. In addition, the low pressure coming from the Philippines’ Archipelago has strengthened into a tropical depression.

As a result, there will be more rains in the north and north central parts from November 7-8 while torrential rains will hit the central, central highland and southern parts of Vietnam.

The Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee has asked administrations at all levels to brace themselves for possible heavy rains and floods in the next few days.
