Hanoi to host Asia-Pacific banking forum on AI, digital transformation
VOV.VN - More than 300 banking executives, technology experts and industry partners from across the Asia-Pacific region will gather in Hanoi on August 25-26 for the Temenos Regional Forum APAC 2026 to discuss how artificial intelligence (AI), cloud computing and core banking modernisation are reshaping the financial industry.
As AI and digital platforms continue transforming financial institutions worldwide, TRF'26 APAC will focus on technologies and strategies expected to shape the next generation of banking services.
Discussions will cover core banking modernisation, AI adoption and technology investment priorities as banks seek to improve operational efficiency, strengthen customer experience and maintain resilient financial systems.
One of the forum's highlights will be the participation of Takis Spiliopoulos, Chief Executive Officer of Temenos, who will visit Vietnam for the first time since assuming the company's top leadership role. He will talk about the changes impacting growth strategies, addressing pressures to optimise costs, enhancing customer experience, and maintaining system stability.
Beyond examining industry trends, the event will emphasise practical implementation. Through keynote presentations and panel discussions, banking executives, technology specialists and implementation partners will exchange views on digital transformation roadmaps, investment priorities and strategies for translating technology investment into business value.
According to organisers, TRF'26 APAC will bring together participants from financial institutions across the Asia-Pacific region, providing a platform to exchange experiences and address common challenges in digital transformation.
The programme will include plenary sessions, thematic discussions and business networking activities, enabling banks and financial institutions to explore technology deployment, identify potential partners and share practical implementation experience.
As Vietnam's banking sector continues accelerating digital transformation, expanding financial ecosystems and enhancing competitiveness, the forum is anticipated to provide international perspectives and practical insights to support technology adoption and long-term strategic planning.
