The Da Nang City People’s Committee has issued a plan for the East-West Economic Corridor International Trade, Tourism and Investment Fair – EWEC Da Nang 2026, which will be co-organised by the Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Da Nang Department of Industry and Trade, in coordination with relevant agencies and units.

Of the total booths, 26 will be allocated to international organisations and embassies, 200 to the National Trade Promotion Programme, and 118 to participating businesses. Da Nang will also have a dedicated exhibition area for One Commune One Product (OCOP) items, industrial products, cultural and tourism services, and investment projects.

Products and services on display will include OCOP products, agricultural products, food and beverages, industrial goods, electronics and technology products, handicrafts, as well as services in tourism, hospitality, banking and healthcare.

The event will feature a wide range of activities, including forums on trade, investment and online exports, a programme connecting international buyer delegations with Vietnamese businesses, and promotional activities.

Notably, Da Nang will cover 100% of booth rental costs for participants from countries along the East-West Economic Corridor, diplomatic agencies and international organisations. The city will also subsidise 50% of booth rental costs for businesses, cooperatives and trade promotion organisations participating under the 2026 National Trade Promotion Programme.

EWEC 2026 fair is expected to help expand markets and promote value chain development in the central and Central Highlands regions, as well as countries along the East-West Economic Corridor.
