VOV.VN - The 2026 Mid-Autumn Festival was held on September 13 at the Sapa Trade Center in Prague, drawing a large turnout of Vietnamese organizations, associations, and youth in the Czech Republic.
The event provided a festive space for Vietnamese children and teenagers to celebrate the traditional holiday, featuring cultural performances, folk games, and interactions with fairy tale characters.
In his speech at the event, Chairman of the Union of Vietnamese Associations in Europe Hoang Dinh Thang highlighted the growing involvement of second and third-generation youths. He emphasized that the activities help maintain traditional culture and urged families to continue fostering a love for the homeland and preserving Vietnamese customs among younger generations.
The festival aims to connect younger generations with their roots through traditional celebrations, while also offering families an opportunity to gather and share the joy of the reunion.
During the event, the Vietnamese Association at the Sapa Trade Center also commended and rewarded youths who achieved academic excellence over the past school year.
