Emoura Pham heads to Thailand for Miss Grand International 2026
VOV.VN - Miss Grand Vietnam 2026 Emoura Pham flew to Thailand on September 18 to represent Vietnam at Miss Grand International 2026, following more than six weeks of preparations for the international pageant.
Wearing a design by fashion designer Tang Thanh Cong, the beauty queen travelled with her Miss Grand Vietnam sash and crown as she prepared to compete at the international pageant.
A large crowd of fans gathered at Tan Son Nhat International Airport in Ho Chi Minh City early to see her off.
Since being crowned Miss Grand Vietnam 2026 more than six weeks ago, Emoura Pham has focused on preparations for the international competition, including training in catwalk skills, fitness, dancing and interview techniques.
Her team has also prepared more than 40 outfits by designers including Pham Dang Anh Thu, Adrian Anh Tuan, Do Long, Le Ngoc Lam, Ivan Tran and Tang Thanh Cong, among others.
One of the highlights is her National Costume, titled Vinh quy bai To (Returning Home in Glory to Pay Tribute to Ancestors), which won first prize at the Grand National Costume – Miss Grand Vietnam 2026.
Created by young designer Pham Minh Man with guidance from mentor and designer Ivan Tran, the costume weighs nearly 20kg. It has been adjusted to fit Emoura Pham, allowing her to perform comfortably on stage.
Inspired by traditional Vietnamese cultural values, the costume is expected to help introduce Vietnamese culture and stories to international audiences.
In Thailand, alongside cultural exchange activities and engagements with organisers, Emoura Pham will participate in the talent and swimsuit segments, closed-door interview, and national costume segment.
The semi-final is scheduled for October 7, and the grand final for October 10.
