Eight Tet-themed exhibition spaces at Spring Fair 2026

VOV.VN - The Spring Fair 2026 opened to visitors on February 2, presenting eight carefully curated exhibition spaces that highlight the colours and cultural traditions of the Tet holiday at the Vietnam Exhibition Centre in Dong Anh, Hanoi.

Spring Fair 2026 runs from February 2-13, with about 100,000 square metres of indoor exhibition space and more than 45,000 square metres outdoors.

The fair is organised as a spring journey across Vietnam, bringing together economic, cultural and creative values, and structured into eight thematic sections.

The locality section, with Ho Chi Minh City at its core, is located in the main area of the Kim Quy Exhibition Hall, serving as the central hub and the starting point of the spring journey.

The locality section presents a smart, sustainable urban space alongside Southern Tet experiences rich in local cultural character, where tradition and modern life meet in a close and welcoming cultural setting.

The “Spring journey through the homeland – specialties from across the country” section brings together signature products and the colours of spring from provinces and cities nationwide.

The “Vietnamese agricultural products -spreading the colours of spring” section, led by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment, serves as a focal space highlighting agriculture and the rural economy.

The “Prosperous Spring” section, led by the Ministry of Industry and Trade, brings together enterprises operating across industry, trade, distribution and services.

The “Tet Reunion” space, led by the Hanoi, showcases representative commercial products and promotes OCOP items (One Commune, One Product).

The “Tet Reunion” space is also dedicated to displaying and promoting handicrafts and traditional craft village products.

The “Essence of Vietnamese Culture” section, led by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, features product displays and Tet cultural spaces, recreating the atmosphere of the traditional Tet holiday through cultural experiences.

Alongside local specialties, the booths also present distinctive cultural products and local intangible cultural heritage to Hanoi residents and fair visitors.

The Lang Son tourism booth introduces the craft of traditional papier-mâché mask making, featuring masks used during festival days by ethnic communities in the province’s highland areas.

The Vietnam tourism booth carries the message “Vietnam: Travel to Love.”

Local specialties and OCOP products always attract visitors and shoppers.

Products associated with Tet and Tet customs from different regions.

Alongside local specialties such as fruit and agricultural products typical of the northern highlands, Son La presents a range of Mong cultural activities on the opening day of the exhibition for Tet and the spring season, including Mong flute performances, folk singing and dancing, and traditional glutinous rice cake pounding, drawing visitors to experience the culture and purchase local specialties.

Activities such as traditional glutinous rice cake pounding and Mong folk singing and dancing at the Son La provincial booth attract large numbers of visitors, adding to the lively trading atmosphere at the booth.

Having previously taken part in the Autumn Fair, artisans from Thiet Ung craft village enthusiastically demonstrate woodcarving techniques and introduce finely crafted products bearing the Thiet Ung woodworking village brand.

Many residents take time to visit the fair to shop for Tet goods.

The outdoor “Spring Flavours of Connection” section offers a spring food space and spring flower displays, completing the spring journey at the fair for visitors to experience and shop ahead of the Lunar New Year.
